Gateway Community and Technical College Workforce Solutions invites business professionals and community leaders to attend the fall network meeting at the Boone Campus in the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Convening Center, room B123, on Oct. 20, 7:30-9 a.m.
Learn more about the exciting new programs offered by Workforce Solutions, as well as enjoy a keynote presentation by Tina Taylor of HR Elements regarding important changes to overtime and exemption laws.
Tina Taylor, president of HR Elements, has a successful record of creating and implementing HR programs throughout her 25-year career. Her experience includes leadership roles in the legal, financial and manufacturing industries for national and global firms.
As Director of Human Resources at Deloitte, known for its Best Places to Work reputation, she learned the importance of best in class human resources’ programs and practices. As Vice President of HR for Fifth Third Bank, Taylor led initiatives throughout the company to include performance management, incentive compensation design, employee relations and executive recruiting. This experience inspired her to share her knowledge and experience with private business and non-profit firms who have little or no HR support by starting her own consulting practice in 2006.
This event is open to the public and space is limited. Email Jenni Hammonds at jenni.hammons@kctcs.edu to sign up.
