The Boone County Fiscal Court meeting advertised for Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 8:30 a.m. has a time change to 5:30 p.m. on that date.
The meeting will take place in the Fiscal Courtroom of the Boone County Administration Building located at 2950 Washington Street in Burlington.
The regular time for Fiscal Court meetings, which are scheduled at the beginning of the year, is 5:30 p.m. There was some confusion, however, regarding whether the room might be needed in the evening for activities related to the November General Election.
Since the room will be available, the meeting will begin at the regular time of 5:30 p.m.
The meeting change notice has been posted, in compliance with Kentucky Revised Statutes.
Items to be discussed include a presentation by Jacob Brooks, executive director of the YMCA about expansion plans for the R.C. Durr facility.
