Investigators say through various conversations with Rohlman, his admissions corroborated numerous findings discovered in the Sheriff’s detectives’ investigation.

Rohlman is charged, but the case remains open as investigators work to review all of the evidence. The Boone County Coroner’s office identified female remains found Nov. 17 on Point Pleasant Road as that of Tammy Rohlman.

Rohlman, 54 of Todd Drive in Burlington, was last seen on Saturday evening, Nov. 12, after attending a family function in Hebron.

She was first thought by family to have just wanted to get away. She was later considered a Critical Missing Person after her pickup truck was located abandoned and she, uncharacteristically, had not been in communication with anyone.

Sheriff’s investigators initially charged Charles “Hunter” Rohlman with Tampering with Physical Evidence & Abuse of a Corpse. Pending further investigation, the charges were amended.

Hunter is being held in the Kenton County Detention Center in lieu of a $1 million bond.
