Beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 1 (tonight), both entrance ramps to I-75 Northbound from Buttermilk Pike will be closed. Both ramps will re-opened by Sunday, Nov. 6.
A physical detour will not be posted.
Variable Message Boards will be used to direct motorists Southbound on I-75 to Exit 184A (Erlanger / KY 236 East). Motorists will then be able to enter Northbound I-75 from Eastbound KY 236.
Update on i-71/I-75 project:
An interstate rehabilitation project is in progress on I-71/I-75 from the I-275 interchange to just south of US 25 (Exit 188). The Northbound direction is back open to 3 lanes.
The entrance ramp from KY 236 (Donaldson Road) is now open to traffic. The speed limit is 45 MPH in the northbound work zone. If motorists are involved in a fender bender situation, please proceed to a clear and safe area and contact local law enforcement.
Crews will continue working on ramps and completing project tasks.
Lane closures will be present in the Northbound and Southbound directions during off peak night time hours. Some delays can be expected throughout the remainder of the construction season. Drivers should exercise extreme caution and watch for traffic control devices, flaggers, construction personnel and equipment entering and leaving the work zone.
The completion date for this project is December 2, 2016. Work is weather dependent.
