Dinsmore Homestead offers Christmas in the Country and Christmas Tea in the Main House


Set back in time — and slow down for the holidays — with special holiday offerings at historic Dinsmore Homestead in Burlington.

December 3-4 is Christmas in the Country time — a heritage event with live music, children’s drafts, cookies and refreshments; from 1-8 p.m on Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sudsy.

There will be candlelight tours Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m.

On December 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be Christmas Tea inside the Main House.

High team will include a festive holiday atmosphere and a display of 18th century winter clothing worn by the Dinsmore family.

Reservations are required as space is limited and admission is $35 a person.

The Homestead closes for the year — until April 1, 2017 — so the last day for tours will be December 11.
