Newport on the Levee (NOTL) will kick-off the holiday season with the Light Up the Levee Grand Illumination on Tuesday, November 22 from 6–8 p.m.
The official tree lighting ceremony will be hosted by Frank Marzullo of FOX19 and broadcast live on FOX19 at approximately 6:50 p.m.
The event will feature the sights and sounds of the season with jazzy holiday music from the Chris Comer Trio; Dickens Carolers; an ice sculpting demonstration by Artic Diamond; vendor booths with festive treats; and an appearance by Jolly Ole’ St. Nick himself.
All of this leads to 1.4 million sparkling lights being turned on to illuminate the Levee’s
50-foot tree.
Once the Levee is illuminated, visitors will be captivated by a glittering holiday light show unlike any other in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area; the vibrant lights will artistically dance in synchronization to some timeless holiday songs. There is even the possibility of snow showers.
The holiday excitement doesn’t end there.
Santa will make a special return visit to the Levee on December 17 when he hosts his very own breakfast catered by Brio Tuscan Grille from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Kids of all ages can register to secure a spot for Breakfast with Santa. The morning will include story time, arts & crafts, games and a special gift for each child.

Every Friday and Saturday at Newport on the Levee will feature delightful holiday entertainment. A schedule of activities is available on the Levee website.
