KET celebrates the season with annual Martinis and Mistletoe honoring Ken and Eileen Harper on Dec. 7


KET’s annual Martinis and Mistletoe event will ring in the season, while supporting its mission of providing quality educational programming and services to citizens throughout the state.

The 9th Annual Martinis & Mistletoe event, hosted by the Northern Kentucky Regional Board of the Commonwealth Fund for KET, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 5-8 p.m. at the Drees Pavilion at Devou Memorial Overlook in Covington.

The event will include cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

Reservations or donations may be made online at KET.org/martinis or by contacting Sharon Michael at smichael@ket.org or (859) 258-7228. Reservations are requested by Dec. 3.

Oakley and Eva Farris, long-time supporters of KET’s programming and services in the region, will serve as the event’s honorary chairs.

During the event, KET will recognize Ken and Eileen Harper for their leadership and service within the Northern Kentucky community. Ken Harper, a former state representative and former Kentucky Secretary of State, has served in numerous leadership roles with Northern Kentucky University, the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Covington Rotary and Jaycees and other civic groups. Eileen Harper is a past president of the Covington Jaycee Wives and the Thomas More College Women’s Guild, among many other volunteer roles.
