John J. Johnson will be the Keynote Speaker at the Northern Kentucky Branch, NAACP 16th Annual Freedom Fund Gala on Saturday.
Alelxis Rogers, news reporter WLWT TV will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.
The NKY Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Gala will be held at Northern Kentucky Student Union Ballroom on Kenton Drive in Highland Heights Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
A pre-Gala reception will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude at 6:45 p.m.
The Northern Kentucky Branch, NAACP will present scholarships to students attending area colleges and universities.
In addition, the NAACP will present its Corporate Partner Award and Education Partner Award.

Scott Smith, Police Chief of Ludlow will receive the NAACP Community Impact Award.
Ten members of the Northern Kentucky Police Chiefs Association along with 500 additional attendees will attend the Gala.
Oscar Smith will receive the NAACP Armed Services and Veterans Recognition Award for outstanding Military Service.
L’Oreal USA and Levi Strauss will receive the Corporate Award and Tracey M. Stokes and Leo Calderon both NKU Administrative Staff will receive the NAACP Education Partner Award.
