The third-ranked Thomas More College women’s soccer team will play 14th-ranked University of Chicago in the NCAA Sectional Semifinals in Whitewater, Wisconsin. The match will be on Saturday, Nov. 19 at time to be announced on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Wisconsin-Whitewater, who is ranked No. 7, will play 21st-ranked Pomona-Pitzer in the other semifinal round match on Saturday. The winners will advance to play each other on Sunday, Nov. 20 for the right to advance to the National Semifinals. Match times will be announced on Monday afternoon.

Thomas More advanced to the sectional semifinals after beating Penn State University-Behrend, 3-1, in the first round and Lynchburg College, 1-0, in the second round.
Chicago defeated Webster University, 6-0, and Augsburg College, 2-0, to advance to the sectionals.
Wisconsin-Whitewater advanced to the sectionals after defeating the University of Minnesota-Morris, 3-0, and Loras College, 3-0.
Pomona-Pitzer defeated the University of California Santa Cruz, 5-2, in the first round and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 6-0, in the second round to advance to the sectional semifinals.
