Each year the NKY Chamber identifies key legislative issues affecting its members, formulate pro-business policy positions and advocate for those positions on behalf of members.

“This is always a great opportunity for business leaders to spend time with members of our delegation and to discuss our legislative priorities,” said Trey Grayson, President/CEO, NKY Chamber.

Its 2017 Where We Stand Kentucky legislative agenda comes directly from members. Northern Kentucky business leaders from a variety of sectors have spent months formulating policy recommendations in advocacy committee meetings.

Subject matter experts presented and discussed the top priorities, which include:

  • Labor & Employment Law changes
  • Right to Work
  • Repeal of Prevailing Wage
  • Tax Reform
  • Implementation of Outcomes-Based and Equity Funding for NKU
  • Medical Review Panels
  • Pension Transparency
