Generations Church joins with Freestore Foodbank to open its Food Pantry — monthly — to the public

Generations Church, 4161 Richardson Road, Independence, has joined with Freestore Foodbank to open it Food Pantry to the public.

Starting in January, with a truckload of food from the Freestore and other donations the church was able to pro- vide food for up to a month to families and individuals in need from the South Kenton County area.

Church volunteers provided cooked breakfast for the families and then helped them fill their shopping carts with bread, groceries meat, fruit and vegetables which were then loaded in to their transport for the journey home.

After this successful start, it is intended to open the pantry on a monthly basis on the following dates:
February 18, March 18, April 8, May 20, June 17 with a cooked breakfast at 9 a.m. for families and the Food Pantry opening fromm 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Generations Church is always looking for volunteers and donations to help operate the Pantry.
