Reminder – KY 8 bridge over Twelve Mile Creek remains closed

The KY 8 bridge over Twelve Mile Creek near Oneonta in Campbell County also remains closed.

A recent load analysis determined a restriction in the load rating of the superstructure due to section loss in the stringers. The bridge will remain closed until an emergency contract can be awarded.

A signed detour is in place directing motorists to use KY 2828 (Ivor Road) to KY 9 (AA Highway) to US 27 to KY 1998 (Industrial Road) to KY 8.
