C-Forward, an Information Technology (I.T.) Services firm headquartered in Covington, KY is announcing a new Vice President of Technical Services.
Mike Grout, in his 11th year with C-Forward, is being promoted to Vice President of Technical Services.

Said C-Forward President Brent Cooper, “Mike’s dedication to improving and growing the organization has been critical to our success. He leads technical services not only in Northern Kentucky, but in the Lexington/Central Region as well. He has become a key resource for our staff and our clients.
As a Technical Services Manager, Mike hired and developed many of C-Forward’s service team members. An NKU graduate (Class of 2006) and a Leadership Northern Kentucky Graduate (Class of 2013), he has been leading the service team and is essential in the company’s internal operations.
As Vice President, Mike will continue leading the team towards more operational efficiencies and improved service delivery. Continuing as part of C-Forward’s leadership team, he will provide his expertise in sustaining C-Forward’s growth and providing future direction.
“I am extraordinarily passionate about our mission and vision and I love the team that we’ve built,” Grout said. “For me, trying to make our business, our employees, and our clients a little better is what gets me out of bed each morning. I always strive for continuous improvement in everything I do and I enjoy trying to instill that drive in others.”
Mike lives in Edgewood with his wife Lisa and their dog Scooter.
Steve Oldfield photography exhibit
Steve Oldfield is an award-winning photographer and reporter who has worked on six continents. He was named one of the top 52 photographers in a worldwide competition by the London School of Liberal Arts that included 644 photographers from 101 countries.
His work has been exhibited by the National World War One Museum in Kansas City; the Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregon and Art on the Levee in Newport, KY. He appeared in a web exhibition by The Photo Review, “Other Tribes.” More than 20 of his images are featured in the book, “Cincinnati: The Queen City” (fourth edition) and his photos have appeared in Urban Ink Magazine.

Oldfield has exhibited everything from photographs of prison tattoo artwork to tennis greats Serena Williams and Rafa Nadal to scenic shots of Patagonia, Argentina and The Australian Outback.
He will be exhibiting his photographs at Gateway Gallery at Gateway Community & Technical College’s Urban Metro Campus March 13-24 and will be available at a reception at 5 p.m. on March 15, open to the public.
In 2015, Oldfield directed two documentaries, “Lines of Sight,” about painter Jim Hall and “Covington at 200: Points of View” currently airing on KET. He is one of the founders of the tech company Touritz, a graduate of Covington’s Uptech program.
Oldfield graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
He holds a master’s degree in Public History and has worked with a variety of museums and historic sites. Oldfield has taught at the University of Cincinnati and NKU and he mentors young photographers and documentary filmmakers.
