SATURDAY, MARCH 11
PROM THEME is a consistent runner for Doug Danner who loves this track. She drops back to the bottom for this one and looks like a good bet to get the win with Mojica up. FANCY JUSTICE exits the same race as the top pick and finished a half-length behind her in that one. She is definitely the one to beat again. MY FOUR REWARDS comes off of back to back scores and has to be considered.
RACE 2
MICHAEL stretches back out after a couple of decent sprints. He can win this one with his best performance. I’LL GIVE YOU WAR looked good breaking his maiden and if he can make a clear lead he will be tough to catch. INNOCUOUS will be running late and is a definite threat.
RACE 3
MR. SENSIBILITY is riding a three race win streak for Ben Colebrook. He appears to be in a good spot to make it four with Quinonez back aboard tonight. FROST OR FRIPPERY drops a notch in class after winning back to back sprints. He is good right now and looks like the main competition. WALL STREET ran well last out and rates a chance.
RACE 4
PEPITE looked good winning at this level two starts back and was overmatched in a tough starter allowance race last out. He should get a good trip from the inside post and rates a slight edge in a very well matched race. DISCREET GLEN has never been out of the money in his eight races over this surface. He figures to be on or near the lead throughout and could be tough to catch. MOON GUN ran well in his only Turfway start and has to be considered.
RACE 5
BROADWAY BROAD has been off since October but Bert Crawford is having a very good meet and this one figures to be dangerous despite the layoff. POMMADE takes the big class drop for Tom Drury and gets blinkers tonight. SATURDAY’S CATCH drops in for a tag for the first time.
RACE 6
HIGH MOON looked very sharp breaking his maiden in his debut back in January. He came back to finish second in a tougher race last out and looks best with Ouzts back aboard. GREENHORN was a beaten favorite against lesser but the move up in class is a positive sign and he is the one to beat. WARRIOR JONESY was sharp in his debut and has to be respected.
RACE 7
HEAT IT UP RICH has finished in the money in his last nine races for Aaron West. He figures to get a good trip with Jimenez aboard from the inside post and looks like a solid bet to win tonight. UNBOLTED is also good right now. He gets in light with Kurtz back aboard and figures to be the one to catch. CINQUE just broke his maiden but has to be considered with Rodney Prescott aboard tonight.
RACE 8
CITY WITHOUT PITY is running very well right now. She comes off of a game front running score and has the speed to be on or near the lead again tonight. She is capable of the repeat score with Franklin back aboard for Karyn Wittek. QUIGLEY’S CORNER faded badly last out but a return to her best race would make her a threat at decent odds. TROPHY GIRL broke her maiden in her first start for Mike Maker. She has been off since January but is training steadily and is a definite contender in a tough allowance race.
RACE 9
PINETREE PRO ran well to finish second in his Turfway debut and looks best off of that performance. IRISH NINJA finished four lengths behind the top pick last out but that was his first start since October and he figures to improve. HACHI ran poorly last out but is capable of better and could add value to the gimmicks.
