George and Amal Clooney are parents of twins — a boy Alexander and a girl Ella — all happy and healthy

The world’s Sexist Man several times over who once said he wasn’t interested in marriage or children is happily eating his words these days.

George Clooney, 56, who attended Northern Kentucky University and is an international celebrity, is now the father of twins, a boy Alexander and a girl, Ella, born Tuesday in England.

He and his wife Amal, 36, a Lebanese-British human rights lawyer, are expected to live in their 17th-century manor in Oxfordshire for the immediate future.

A spokesman released a statement that “Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine,” and that “George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”

Clooney has also joked about being a father so late in life — and says he has taken a lot of jokes from his friends as well. Especially those whose kids are already in college.

The Clooneys have been married for two and a half years, after tying the knot in Venice, Italy, in 2014, at an extravagant wedding attended by family, including parents Nick and Nina of Augusta, and Hollywood’s A-List.

In addition to the home in England, Clooney also owns homes in Studio City, Calif., and Lake Como, Italy.

Amal has continued her legal work. She appeared in March at the United Nations to push for a probe into ISIS’ crimes in Iraq.
