Fifth annual Taste of OTR at Washington Park features Craft Beer Village, benefits Tender Mercies


The fifth annual Taste of OTR takes place Saturday, Aug. 26, in Cincinnati’s Washington Park.

The event, produced by Tender Mercies, benefits over 150 adults with mental illness recovering from the trauma of homelessness each year.

The Taste of OTR features restaurant, food truck tastings, and retailers that make OTR a vibrant cultural center of Cincinnati.

The Taste of OTR will also feature the Craft Beer Village with a variety of local breweries including Sam Adams, Rhinegeist, Taft’s Ale House, March First, MadTree, Fifty West, Warped Wing, West Sixth, Braxton, Rivertown, and Moerlein.

VIP tickets can be purchased here. Prices are one for $25 or two for $40. Included in the VIP experience is selective tastings each hour featuring Best of Taste winners, two drink tickets, and a gift bag valued over $25. Only 200 tickets will be sold.

In conjunction with the Taste of OTR, Coldwell Banker Metro Office will host Taste of OTR Living from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the day of the Taste. With over 30 units open to tour, visitors will get a fresh insight into the newest “City Living” homes in the neighborhood that are for sale. Tourgoers are encouraged to stop by the Coldwell Banker Metro Office at 1400 Elm (across from Washington Park) to receive a map, and water.
