Tender Mercies’ 5th Annual Taste of OTR is Saturday at Cinci’s Washington Park — family fun, good cause


Tender Mercies non-profit will the 5th Annual Taste of OTR on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. in Cincinnati’s Washington Park.

This event, produced by Tender Mercies, benefits over 150 adults with mental illness recovering from the trauma of homelessness each year.
 
The Taste of OTR features restaurants, food truck tastings, and retailers that make OTR a vibrant cultural center of Cincinnati. General Admission is free. The Taste of OTR will also feature the Craft Beer Village with a variety of local breweries including Sam Adams, Rhinegeist, Taft’s Ale House and more.
 
The VIP experience has sold out. The Experience will feature selective tastings each hour from the Best of Taste winners: Revolution Rotisserie, Grand Central Delicatessen, Empanadas Aqui, Eli’s BBQ, and Tweedles Mini Donuts.

The overall “Best of Taste” winner will be announced before our headliner at 9 p.m. For a full list of restaurants and retailers please visit TasteofOTR.org.
 
UC Athletics is joining the Taste of OTR for the Kids Zone will feature UC Cheerleaders, the official Bearcat mascot, a bouncy house sponsored by UC, a face painter, a balloon artist, and a coloring contest. Kids will have the chance to win tickets to FC Cincinnati and Cincinnati Cyclone games when participating in the coloring contest.
 
The Taste of OTR will also feature a full lineup of live entertainment starting at 11 a.m. opening with One Day Steady and closing with the headliner Ballroom Thieves at 9 p.m.

In conjunction with the Taste of OTR, Coldwell Banker Metro Office will host Taste of OTR Living from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the day of the Taste. With over 30 units open to tour, you will get a fresh insight into the newest “City Living” homes in the neighborhood that are for sale. Tour goers are encouraged to stop by the Coldwell Banker Metro Office at 1400 Elm (across from Washington Park) to receive a map, water and Hen of the Woods chips.
