Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center is set to host its first ever “Farm to Table” dinner on Friday, November 17 from 6-9 p.m.
The dinner itself is set to take place on the grounds of the art school’s campus and will articulate a menu of food and drink pairings inspired by Baker Hunt’s own gardens.

Hotel Covington’s own Sous Chef Robert “Bean” Castañeda will provide the cooking for that evening on the grounds and will also be displaying a ‘Jackson Pollock’ inspired “Desserts Demonstration” table for guests to view. Chef Castañeda and his “Living Breathing Kitchen” mission are set to bring life to the event.
Baker Hunt Lead Production Gardener, Alexa Abner believes this event is a long time coming and a great way to promote the non-profit art school throughout the community, for several school sessions to come.
“No Starving Artists farm to table dinner series is the final stitch in a closed loop system that has developed over my last two seasons here at Baker Hunt. It only seems proper to bring together a chef, a musician and the work of Baker Hunt’s many talented artists for the community to experience all the art school has to offer!” said Abner.
“The garden’s bounty and culture surrounding the soil will provide an evening of meaningful food, drink and entertainment while allowing you to support Covington artists.”
The official dining and drink menu will be announced later on in November.
There will also be a live local music performance that evening along with the best of Baker Hunt Art & Cultural art pieces up for display.
Seating is limited and tickets can be purchased for $40 in advance and $50 at the door. You can purchase tickets through the website.
