KY Society of CPAs taking application for summer camp program for high school students

The Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA) is taking applications now through Feb. 28 for its summer business camp program for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

BASE Camp will be held June 10-14 at Bellarmine University’s campus in Louisville.

Selected students will stay on campus and learn the basics of business and accounting in a hands-on, interactive format.

Tuition is only $150 and includes housing, materials, meals, books, transportation, tours and activities for accepted applicants.

There is a nonrefundable application fee of $25.

Students who cannot afford these fees may request a BASE Camp scholarship to cover the cost at www.kycpa.org.

BASE Camp is a fully-supervised program open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors from across Kentucky and southern Indiana.

High school students interested in majoring in business or accounting are invited to apply. Applications must be received no later than Feb. 28.
