The City of Newport will be host to the NKY Restoration Weekend on Saturday, March 10th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day-long event will be held at the Newport Intermediate School located at 95 West 9th Street. There will be multiple concurrent workshops geared toward residential and commercial restoration projects.
An all-day vendors fair will also be held during the event featuring local businesses and vendors who specialize in Historic Preservation and Restoration.
The event is free to attend, open to the public and coordinated by the Historic Preservation Offices of Newport, Covington and Bellevue.
CEU credits are available for AIA and AICP on Friday, March 9th at the Campbell County Library – Newport Branch at 901 East 6th Street.

Friday for professionals
NKY Restoration is again offering relevant continuing education classes for those who work on Historic and Restoration endeavors in Northern Kentucky, specifically in the Architecture, Planning and now Real Estate professions.
The Friday professional development classes are offered to those in the Architecture, Planning & Real Estate professions that are seeking AIA or AICP CEU’s. The event is taking place on Friday March 9th at the Newport Branch of the Campbell County Public Library from 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
AIA and AICP classes are free, but pre-registration is required for the event.
Due to the overwhelming response for the past 5 years, email your AIA / ACIP number no later than March 8th.
