Selections for Friday, March 30

RACE 1
ZUMAQUE woke up last out and just missed at this level. She appears to be in a good spot to get her maiden score. ELLIE’S STROLL has the speed to make the lead from the inside post and is the one to catch. KIND ROBIN has only had one race and could improve.

RACE 2
SEVEN SEIZE showed big improvement in his second start over this track and a repeat of that one would be good enough to win tonight. PAPER DOLLIE hasn’t won a race in quite a while but she has been in the money in 4 of her 5 starts here and is definitely the one to beat. OLYMPIC SMOKE is a contender.

RACE 3
SYLVESTER YOLY is still winless after 17 tries but has the speed to be on or near the lead throughout and gets the nod with Lebron picking up the mount. WRITTEN is a three year old taking on the older runners but she hooks a fairly weak bunch and drops to the bottom tonight. HIDDEN GARDEN rates a chance.

RACE 4
NORWEGIAN LADY has been running well for Larry Lay who has had an excellent meet with a limited number of runners. Give her the edge with Franklin back aboard. MORNING WAVES was beaten by the top pick last out but should get a good trip from the inside post and figures to run better tonight. LOOKIN AT GRACE is an invader from Fair Grounds who has to be considered.

RACE 5
JERICHO has been running against better at Fair Grounds and rates the slight edge in a weak field of bottom maidens. JIMMYS INTHE HOUSE figures to make the lead and is the one to catch. SEVENHEARTSWARRIOR is a solid threat.

RACE 6
KITTEN’S SOLUTION comes off of an impressive maiden win for leading trainer Wes Ward. He cuts back to six furlongs for this one but is capable of making it two in a row with Cannon picking up the mount. GOOD MAN CHARLIE B has run well in both of his races over this track and looks like the one to beat. AMERICAN SPARROW has the speed to be a contender.

RACE 7
FRANKNJYMME rallied from far back to finish third in his debut for Charlie LoPresti. He figures to move forward off of that effort and rates the edge in what looks like a very solid maiden race. LINBURG’S KITTEN and FAMILY KITTEN form a tough entry for Ken and Sarah Ramsey. Both are capable of running well in this one. BURCIAGA beat the top pick last after pressing the pace throughout. He is a definite threat.

RACE 8
LATIN WILD CAT is a bit erratic but he has the speed to make the lead and appears to be capable of the wire to wire score in this one. TWO IF BY SEA was a beaten favorite last out but is capable of better tonight. STATELY OAK needed his last race after a long layoff and should improve.
