Richard (Rich) Boehne of Newport has been reappointed to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents.
Boehne is the former chairman of the board of The E.W. Scripps Company and vice chair of The Associated Press.
He will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2024.
Since his days as a student at NKU, Boehne has long been an ambassador for the institution and the region. He received his bachelor’s degree from NKU in journalism in 1981.
He has been honored with the NKU Professional Achievement Award (1996), Outstanding Alumnus Award (2001) and Lincoln Award (2012). Last spring he served on the committee that screened and selected the NKU presidential finalists. He served as chairman of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and continues as a member of its executive committee. He serves on the boards of the Associated Press, and Cincinnati’s Freestore Foodbank.
Chris Blankenship promoted at Immedion

Immedion LLC, a premier provider of Cloud, data center and managed IT services, has promoted of Chris Blankenship to Customer Services Manager for their Cincinnati location.
In his new role, Blankenship will be responsible for the development, monitoring and enforcement of Immedion’s service delivery policies and processes to ensure stellar customer service for the growing Cincinnati customer base. He will lead both local Managed Services and NOC (Network Operations Center) teams.
Cove Federal Credit Union names board chair
Cove Federal Credit Union announced that Dave Guethlein, Assistant Director, Safety & Security of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, has been re-elected as the Chairperson for the nonprofit’s Board of Directors.

Claypool appointed to Kentucky Heritage Council
Gov. Bevin has appointed Dr. James Claypool of Park Hills, a retired NKU history professor, to the Kentucky Heritage Council for a term expiring in 2011.
The council is dedicated to the preservation and protection of the commonwealth’s historic preservation programs and maintains an inventory of historic buildings throughout the state.
