The Boone County Public Library offers events at its branches and throughout the county during the month of December. A list of scheduled events for adults is included here. A separate list of events for teens and children is published separately.

Join us for a weekend-long celebration of books as objects of nostalgia, beauty and creative inspiration. Shop a curated collection of vintage and holiday books from our Book Cellar, create a holiday tree out of a book, and, for a fee, make up to ten different crafts with the Boone County Parks Department. Enjoy festive music, a historical dance performance, and light refreshments while you browse. *Library bucks will not be accepted for vintage books, but may be used for all other books offered during the sale.
