On Thursday, January 10, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) invites business leaders, managers, and supervisors, as well as HR professionals to attend: “Creating an Adaptive Workplace Culture.” Led by Priya Dhingra Klocek, the presentation will focus on why it is critical for business leaders to assess how their organizational culture is impacting recruiting, retention, and engagement.

“Workforce trends are changing,” said Leisa Mulcahy, Vice President of Workforce. “With unemployment rates low, it’s harder to recruit and retain skilled talent, making it more important for businesses to assess how their value translates into policies and behaviors in the workplace.”

A business consultant, executive coach, mentor, and facilitator, Klocek is also the President and CEO of Consultant On The Go LLC, a consulting firm that focuses on diagnosing and improving the fundamental human interactions upon which all successful businesses are built. She has more than 20 years of experience working in talent development, change management, and cross-cultural competence.

“Research has proven that an unconventional approach, such as creating an adaptive culture, can enable company leaders to sustain high performance, even in the face of great change,” said Klocek. “Organizations of the future will need to focus on building an adaptive culture, rather than simply a strong culture.”

“Creating an Adaptive Workplace Culture” attendees will learn the benefits of creating an adaptive culture and its potential impact on the overall organization and business, along with strategies on how to assess the current culture and create an adaptive culture. SHRM credit is available.

The “Creating an Adaptive Workplace Culture” session will take place at Hilton Cincinnati Airport (7373 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042) from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. A light breakfast will be served. The cost is $25 for NKY Chamber members and $40 for future members. Event attendees must register online at nkychamber.com/events.
