THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20 (Preview)

Race 1

SHE’S GOT FRIENDS has won only one race but is lightly raced and just missed last out. She figures to improve off that effort and rates the edge in this non-winners of three. ATRUEVISION has been running well at this level and is the one to beat. LUCKY ME LUCKY YOU rates a chance.

Race 2

INSURGENT comes off a solid runner-up finish and both of his career wins have come on the Turfway Poly. He can add another one tonight. FEARLESS KITTY has never run on the Poly but comes off a decent effort against better at Churchill. SERVE fits in here.

Race 3

EMMY SHIMMY didn’t break well last out but still rallied to finish third. She figures to be closer to the pace tonight and looks like a winner with Rafael Mojica, who is having a very good meet, back aboard. SUREIS has never run on Poly but drops in class and leading rider Luan Machado picks up the mount. DESIREE rates a chance.

Race 4

LAKE GIRL just missed last out and gets the nod in a fairly weak maiden claimer. KELLY’S AGENDA had some trouble last out and looks like a contender. DIVINE MELODY is a first-time starter who wouldn’t have to be much to run with these.

Race 5

FLYING FRANK came from off the pace to win last out but figures to show more early speed as he stretches out to a mile tonight. He should be in good position throughout and rates the slight edge in a very well matched race. FROST OR FRIPPERY does his best running over this track. He comes off a game win last out and looks like the one to beat. SHARM also comes off a win and McKee, who rode the top two picks last out, sticks with this one.

Race 6

G NINETEEN has been in the money in four of his eight races and comes off a solid runner-up effort last out. He appears to be in a good spot to pick up his maiden win in this one. JUST LIKE RICHIE is very inconsistent and comes off two lackluster efforts. He did post a solid work here December 8th and anything close to his best would make him the one to beat. POINT TO DUNKIRK has had only one race and should improve.

Race 7

WORKAHOLIC stumbled leaving the gate in her last race and then faded badly after making a good middle move. Her maiden win at Keeneland was impressive and a good start may be all she needs to win with Vallasana back aboard for Laura Wohlers. CRAFTY’S DREAM will like tonight’s added distance and figures to be running at the end. PRINCESS ATHENA just missed in her first race back after a five-month layoff and is a solid threat.

Race 8

STATELY OAK has the outside post but has the tactical speed to be in good position and rates the slight edge. PERPETRATOR exits the same race as the top pick and is a definite threat. TWO IF BY SEA gets blinkers back on and has to be considered.
