THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21:

Race 1
REGAL LOOK is a lightly raced 4-year-old who just missed at this level last out.  He has the speed to be on or near the lead throughout and rates the edge in this one. MIDDLE OF NOWHERE needed his last two races after a seven-month layoff. He figures to be ready for a better performance tonight. FIGHTING FOR GRACE is a solid contender.

Race 2
ITS COLD IN DEHERE didn’t break well in her debut but came back with a solid runner-up performance last out. She looks best with Lezcano back aboard for Darrin Miller. CENTRAL BANKING also improved in her second career start and is the one to bbeat. ARTISTICEXPRESSION is training steadily for her debut. Watch the board on this one.

Race 3
UNSTABLED was a beaten favorite last out after pressing the pace throughout. He figures to get a good trip from just behind the early leaders tonight and should win this one with his best effort. APPROVETHISMESSAGE just missed in his second start back after a long layoff. He takes a big class hike but can run well again tonight. WHOLE LOTTA RUN has been idle since July and may need a race.

Race 4
PROVEN WARRIOR drops to the bottom and gets the nod in what looks like a well matched race. CEEJAY’S MISTER has been dull recently but also takes the drop and could wake up tonight. HE IS RHUTHLESS has the speed to be dangerous.

Race 5
SPEIGHT’S COMETE showed big improvement in her second career start and posted a solid work since that race. She appears to be in a good spot to get her maiden win for Linda Rice with Lezcano back aboard. TOLLY HO was no match for the top pick in her debut but Ben Colebrook has good numbers with his second-time runners. QUICKTRICKMUNNY also comes out of that same race and has to be considered.

Race 6
ABSOLUTELY STYLISH hooked better in his Turfway debut last out. Mike Maker drops him in for a tag tonight and he rates the edge with Rodney Prescott back up. SEA ADMIRAL comes off a sharp win and has the speed to make the lead. He will be tough to catch. TESTY KITTEN moves up in class after three straight wins and has to be respected.

Race 7
SICCAR gets the nod in a fairly weak bottom claimer. OLDFASHIONED ANGEL has been running well at this level and gets blinkers back on for this one. SUGAR CANDY ROSE fits in here.

Race 8
KATE’S GOLDEN DUDE ran a decent race in the Forego and figures to be closing in a race with a lot of early speed. He can win this one with Miranda back aboard for Susan Anderson. LAND BATTLE is a consistent performer from the Hammond barn.  He is capable of rating just off the pace and will be tough with his best effort. TREETOP FLYER has never run on the Poly but may be the speed of the speed and has to be respected.

Race 9
DREAM FEVER takes the big class drop, which is never a good sign, but trainer Cipriano Contreras’s horses have been running very well recently and this one should win with anything close to her best effort. LUCKY ME LUCKY YOU hasn’t been very lucky at the gate but a better start makes her dangerous. BLACK IS BACK is a contender.
