Kentucky Career Center is doubling down on opportunities for job seekers this August


The Kentucky Career Center is partnering with numerous employers next month to get local job seekers into the workforce. In addition to its regular services, this August, the Career Center will be ramping up opportunities for job seekers to get connected to gainful employment. 
 
Florence

The 2nd Annual Summer Fun Job Fair, sponsored by Mubea, will take place Saturday, August 3rd from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Kentucky Career Center-Florence, 8020 Veterans Memorial Dr., Florence.


The Summer Fun Job Fair is a career-focused hiring event for individuals looking for opportunities to grow professionally. This event will feature 20 premier employers with exceptional job opportunities. This is a family-friendly event open to all individuals seeking employment.

A youth activity area will be available to allow parents and guardians the opportunity to interact with employers uninterrupted. A Kona Ice truck will be on-site, and discounted passes for the Florence Aquatic Center will be made available to the first 50 attendees. The event also offers free parking.
 
Covington

Also in August, Kentucky Career Center will be hosting Skilled Trades Tuesdays every Tuesday of the month at the Covington location. 
 
Skilled Trades Tuesdays are intended for job seekers interested in high-demand careers within the skilled trades sector. Employers representing construction, HVAC, welding, roofing, and electrical will be available for individuals eager to advance their career. These events will take place at the Kentucky Career Center-Covington, 1324 Madison Avenue, Covington, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Free parking is available on-site.
