GREEN BAY, Wis. — Bryson Langdon scored a career-high 22 points as Northern Kentucky rallied to post a 71-62 win over Green Bay on Friday night.

Jalen Tate added 17 points and 12 rebounds for NKU, while teammate Dantez Walton — returning to the lineup after missing 10 games with a shoulder injury — finished with 15 points and 10 boards. The Norse used a 15-0 run in the second half to take control of the game and avenged an earlier 73-59 loss to the Phoenix.

Langdon buried five 3-pointers as NKU improved to 15-7 overall, 7-3 in the Horizon League. The Norse — who trailed by as many as eight points in the first half — limited the Phoenix to just 30.3 percent shooting from the field in the final 20 minutes and cruised to the win.

Trevon Faulkner scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds for NKU, which shot 46.2 percent from the field in the second half. The Norse were just 2-for-14 from 3-point range during the first half and trailed 34-32 at the break.

Walton, who made his first appearance since Dec. 15, converted seven free throws in eight attempts. The 6-foot-6 senior also collected three steals and drained a pair of key 3-pointers in the second half to ignite the NKU spurt.

Walton leads NKU in scoring (18.1 points per game) and rebounding (7.4 rpg). The Lima, Ohio, native also has three double-doubles this season.

Tate, a 6-foot-6 junior guard, now has 771 career points and is 49th on NKU’s all-time scoring list. Friday marked Tate’s second career double-double, and the 12 boards were the most he has grabbed as a collegiate player.

Amari Davis scored 14 points to lead Green Bay, which dropped to 10-13 overall, 5-5 in the Horizon League. Trevian Bell added 12 points for the Phoenix, who were held to 5-for-22 shooting from 3-point range.

NKU limited JayQuan McCloud — who scored a total of 61 points in two games last week — to just 11 points on 5-for-13 shooting. Cody Schwartz added 11 points for Green Bay.

NKU is now 6-4 all-time against Green Bay.

The Norse conclude the road trip at Milwaukee on Sunday at 2 p.m.
