Divisions Maintenance Group is moving its headquarters from outgrown space in Newport into The Foundry building, formerly home to Macy’s in downtown Cincinnati.
After years of steady growth and expansion in Newport, DMG outgrew its space.
“The Foundry gives us the opportunity to innovate, grow and continue to recruit top talent to accommodate our growth. We sincerely thank Governor DeWine, Mayor Cranley, Steve Leeper of 3CDC, JobsOhio and several others for their unwavering support and guidance as we move into our new space,” said DMG founder & CEO Gary Mitchell.

DMG, founded in 1999, provides facility maintenance services to retail chains and distribution and fulfillment centers across the country. The company surpassed $433 million in revenue this past fiscal year, a 39% jump from the previous year.
DMG is also on a hiring spree, bringing on dozens of new software and data engineers and account executives. The past several years have been an incredible time of growth for the company, both at headquarters and remote satellite offices.
“The Foundry was renovated to attract rapidly-growing businesses like Divisions Maintenance Group, which will bring more than 250 good-paying jobs and further add to the vibrancy of downtown Cincinnati,” said Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
The Foundry is right across from Fountain Square at the intersection of 5th and Vine streets in downtown Cincinnati. DMG will lease 83,000 square feet on the 3rd and 4th floors.
Employees will also have access to a new rooftop terrace. The official headquarters relocation date is tentatively set for Fall 2022.

The Foundry provides DMG with brand exposure and public transportation among other benefits, presenting the organization with new opportunities to innovate and grow, all while attracting and retaining top talent in the Cincinnati region.
3CDC, commonly known as the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp., is developing The Foundry after acquiring it in 2019. The project was approved for a job creation tax credit from the Ohio Department of Development, and The Foundry was renovated with assistance from JobsOhio’s Ohio Site Inventory program.
“The addition of Divisions Maintenance Group to The Foundry development is a significant step for the project, Cincinnati’s urban core and the city as a whole,” Steve Leeper, President & CEO of 3CDC, said.
