Thomas More University’s music program to host free Christmas concert tonight at Basilica Cathedral

Thomas More University’s Music Program will host a concert at the historic Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption tonight at 7:30 p.m.

To celebrate Thomas More University’s Centennial, the Thomas More University Music program will present Christmas at the Basilica: Community Lessons and Carols.

The Thomas More Music program is accompanied by the Boone County High School Choir and the choir of St. Timothy in an evening of readings and choral works at the historic Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption.

Dr. Daniel Parsley and organist Sara Cahall lead all three Thomas More choirs and are joined by Thomas More University’s brass faculty, student instrumental ensembles, and student soloists leading holiday carols and hymns celebrating the Advent and Christmas seasons.

The program is free and open to the public.
