Brenda Sue Thomas, 81, of Newport, passed away on December 14, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a faithful companion to Stan and the biggest cheerleader and supporter for her children. Brenda was a great example of strength, kindness, and unconditional love. She always put her family first and made everyone feel supported and valued. During her career, Brenda was a Data Processor with Provident Bank and babysat for family and friends. Brenda was born September 29, 1944, in Covington, KY to Truman Mullins and Edna Mullins. She was preceded in death by Father, Truman Mullins, Mother, Edna Mullins, Brother, Truman Mullins, Jr., Sister, Joyce Thomas. Brenda is survived by her Husband, Stanley Thomas of Newport, KY, Son, Larry (Heather) Thomas, Daughter, Terri Thomas, Sister in Law Janet Mullins, Nephew, Bob (Meredith) Thomas, Niece, Bonnie (John) Bloomfield, Nephews Mike Mullins and Tim Mullins, Niece Donna Benke, great nieces Becky Kent and Kelly Payton. Visitation to be held 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Monday, December 22, 2025, at Living Hope Baptist Church, Fort Thomas. Service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Living Hope Baptist Church, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with Rev. Dave Simpson officiating. Burial to follow at the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
