Carol Ann Bucher (née Walden), 63, of Williamstown, Kentucky, passed away on March 3, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Carol was born on August 19, 1962, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, to the late Ben and Arlene (née Gann) Walden. She was raised in Bellevue and graduated from Bellevue High School. She later earned her associate degree from Cincinnati State, becoming a Medical Laboratory Technician.

After many years working in the medical field, Carol retired and fulfilled her dream of living on her farm in Williamstown. She cherished time outdoors, often hiking, caring for her beloved horses, Pepper and Jojo, and chasing around her dog, Smokey. She also enjoyed watching the birds come and go at her many bird feeders and simply spending peaceful moments surrounded by nature. Carol never knew a stranger. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, seen, and valued within minutes of meeting her. She also had a love for gardening. Planting and caring for flowers and plants throughout her yard, some of which that were transplanted from her mothers yard and her Mother-in-laws yard many years ago. She shared a special relationship with her grandson Bentley (Benny). Playing made up games, painting rocks, and enjoying the outdoors.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Bucher, Sr.; her stepson, Jeff Bucher, Jr.; her brother, Larry Walden; and her grandson, Bentley Bucher.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a future date.
