Obituary For Crystal Krey Fedders
Crystal Krey Fedders, 85, of Crestview Hills, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on September 17, 1940, in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Krey.
Crystal began teaching at St. Henry Elementary at just 18 years old, with a Kentucky emergency teaching certificate and went on to dedicate 30 years of service to the school. In recognition of her impact, she was inducted into the St. Henry Elementary School Hall of Fame in 2001. Crystal was well known for her love of cooking and baking, but her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Fedders; her children, Tracie (Eric) Kraus and Eric (Melissa) Fedders and her brother: Merrick (Judy) Krey. She was the proud grandmother of Kendyll Kraus, Kameron Kraus, McCall Fedders, and Colin Fedders, all of whom will forever cherish memories of her Christmas cookie parties, back-to-school Skyline lunches, and her steady presence at their many sporting events.
In addition to her parents, Crystal was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Finn.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10:30 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at Mary Queen of Heaven, 1150 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018. Interment will take place privately at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested in Crystal’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
