Obituaries

Darlene Cull, 85, of Petersburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple in Burlington, KY. Darlene was a graduate of Southern High School in Louisville, KY. She went on to take several college classes after high school. Darlene worked at H&R Block and worked as an accountant for several different employers for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sewing, making quilts and crocheting. Darlene also enjoyed camping and loved traveling to Kentucky state parks.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Catherine Gaddie; sons: Marvin Greg Cull and John Michael Cull and brothers: Richard Gaddie and Roger Gaddie.

Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 68 years: Marvin E. Cull; children: Kenneth R. (Shelley) Cull and Steve Cull; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and nephew: Richard (Kelly) Gaddie, Jr., and their children.

A Celebration of Life for Darlene will take place at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association c/o alz.org.
