Obituary For Darlene Faig

Darlene was born to Mary Ann & the late Charles Osborne on June 2, 1948, in Cincinnati, OH, and graduated from Seton High School.

She married the love of her life, Harold J. Faig, in 1968, and they spent the last 55 years enjoying each other company and their life together. They raised a family, Christine, and Harold Paul, in Cincinnati, Ohio, before retiring in Carefree, AZ, in 2015.

She cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren and enjoyed every moment spent with them. Above all, being a grandmother to her grandchildren - Collin, Cameron, and Bryce - brought her immense joy. Her presence will be greatly missed, but she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Darlene was an amazing person, both in appearance and character. Her witty one-liners and bright smile were enough to brighten up any environment. She was a compassionate and caring individual, who held the people in her life close to her heart. When her children were infants, she was a member of the local La Leche League. As her family grew, she was active in Cincinnati Children's Hospital Women's Auxiliary Group, Kindervelt, raising money for the hospital through craft fairs and various fundraising events. Moreover, she was heavily involved with the Family Service of Cincinnati. She loved charitable work for children and adolescents.

Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Charles Osborne, and her sister, Charlene Osborne Skeen.

She is survived by her husband, Harold J Faig; her children, Christine Faig Smith and Harold Paul Faig; her mother, Mary Ann Osborne. Forever remembered by her siblings Francine Osborne Fortney, John, Dan, Gerald, and Gary Osborne, and her three grandchildren, Collin, Cameron, and Bryce Smith.

She greatly impacted many lives and will be missed by all who knew her. A private memorial is planned for her immediate family upon her return to Cincinnati. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the local Parkinson's Foundation.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ALMoore-Grimshaw.com for the Faig family.
