Obituary For David Clifton Stephens
David Clifton Stephens was born in Covington, KY on February 8, 1955. He left his earthly home to go to his heavenly home on January 11, 2024. He leaves his Son Matthew Stephens of Boston, MA, his Daughter Tara Franklin of San Antonio, TX, 2 Grandchildren, his Sister Judy Stephens Hammitt, Brother Carroll Stephens and several loved Nieces & Nephews and 1 great Niece. David was a graduate of Boone County High School and attended Northern Kentucky University. He was employed by Procter & Gamble immediately after graduation where he worked for several years. He moved to Austin, TX in 1991 where he met his former Wife, Dana Gottsberger. He was a recruiter for MRI throughout his remaining time in Texas and continued this career upon his return to Kentucky in 2017. He was an avid golfer. He loved visiting Gatlinburg, TN. He did public speaking and several motivational seminars. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, 1985 Union School Road, Union, Ky 41091 at 11 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2024. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Baptist Church, St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017 or St. Elizabeth Inpatient or Outpatient Cancer Care Center, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
