Delma Ruth Jones (nee. Vance), 92, of Ft. Thomas, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at HighlandSpring of Ft. Thomas. In her younger years she worked at Fifth Third, Social Security and eventually retired with the IRS. Later in life, she enjoyed working part-time as a chiropractor’s assistant. She thoroughly enjoyed helping those in need and was blessed to begin and manage the first food pantry at her church. She enjoyed volunteering, traveling, creating laughter and cooking for others, especially her family. She truly desired to help others in any way she could. She treasured time spent with family and friends, and was a devoted wife, mom and grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilbert & Corine Vance; husband, Eugene Jones; brother, Quentin Vance and sister, Bernell Heist. Delma is survived by her son, Mike (Linda) Jones; daughters, Kathy Burgin & Becky Wiggins; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 12th at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 13th at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft.
