Donna Sue Raleigh, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the age of 91. Donna was born December 7, 1932, in Covington, KY to John and Virginia Cram. Donna is survived by her two sons, John (Nancy) Hicks, of Florence, KY and Rick Hicks, of Hebron, KY, affectionately called, Johnny and Ricky. Donna was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Florence, KY. Donna was a proud and loving mother and grandmother to her sons and grandchildren. She loved a quick game of cards or a game of Yahtzee, which she rarely lost. Spending time with her family on holidays and just talking was very important to Donna; it was then that you could find her laughing and smiling. In her quiet time, you could often find her each morning reading her Bible. She was faith-filled and often found her strength in her beliefs. Donna is survived by her brother, Ronald (Rosie) Cram; grandsons, Zachary (Jennifer) Hicks, Kellen Hicks, Chris Hicks, John (Jenelle) Hicks, Nathan (Laura) Halenkamp; granddaughters, Angie (Wayne) Herolaga, Allison (Kurtis) Mahan, Emily Hicks and Maria Halenkamp. She’s also survived by 25 great grandchildren. Donna is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lainey Hicks; sister, Patsy Emberson; granddaughter, Andrea Sipple; grandson, Michael Halenkamp and great-grandson, Nolan Halenkamp. Charitable remembrances can be made to St. Paul Church, 7301 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042 or to charity of donor’s choice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 11 AM – 1 PM with Catholic prayers following at 1 PM at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Highway 42, Florence, KY 41042. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY. A special thanks to the caregivers at Belmont Terrace in Florence, KY for the tender care that Donna received.
