Edgar Hampton, age 93 of Hebron, Kentucky passed away on January 16, 2024. Edgar was born at home in Harrison County, KY on May 11, 1930, to James and Lottie Hampton. Edgar was a retired Truck Driver with the John R. Green Company, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War Era, and a member of Sand Run Baptist Church, Hebron, KY. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alverta Hampton who passed away in 2003. He is survived by step-sons, Richard Moscoe and Ernest Lee Moscoe, 5 step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Sand Run Baptist Church, 1327 North Bend Road, Hebron, KY 41048.
