Elaina M. Haddox (neé: Carwithen), 81 years of age, of Florence, Kentucky, entered into rest on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Elaina was born in Charleston, West Virginia, to her late parents Harden Enoch and Athleen Buckhold Carwithen. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Ray Haddox; her brothers, Donald, Ronald, Robert, Mac, and Albert; and two of her grandchildren, Nathanial Rieselman and Roger Haddox. Elaina is survived by her children, Carolyn Ware (Cavella), Mark Haddox (Barbara), Ricky Haddox, Gregory Haddox, and Brian Haddox; her sister, Charlene Short; and her 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Elaina left her family with a legacy of love, a love of family, a love for God, a love for her church, and a love of gardening. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery, Florence, Kentucky.
