Obituary For Frank B. Decker III

Frank B. Decker III, age 93, of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, was called home to the Lord on October 10, 2025, comforted by the assurance of eternal rest. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandpa and great grandpa, Frank lived his life as a shining example of faith and love. He was a life-long member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Frank’s greatest blessing was his family whom he lead by his example of faith. Frank attended Covington Latin School, Villa Madonna College, and the University of Kentucky. He was a US Navy Veteran; serving in the Korean War. He had a successful pharmaceutical career and was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank B. and Loretta (Graving) Decker and siblings, Rita Gehring, Lois Moore and Norman Decker. He is survived by his wife Jeanne (nee Whaley) of 66 years; his children, Frank B. (Tracy), Dr. Kelly Brunson (Steve), Kara Bridges (Brad), and Brigid Decker; grandchildren Cameron, Clair (Austen), Paige, David, Kyle, Sean and Alec; great grandchildren Quinn and William, siblings Martha Conway, Carole Lentz, and close friends. Visitation will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Blessed Sacrament Church: 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12pm. Reception will immediately follow in the church Undercroft.
