Obituary For Gary Sandfoss

Gary “Todd” Sandfoss, 61 of Silver Grove KY passed away on October 17, 2023. He was the son of William Joseph and Virginia Lee “Bootsie” (Smith) Sandfoss. Gary had worked as a custodian for Silver Grove and Campbell County Schools. He was a member of St. Philip Parish in Melbourne. He attended Silver Grove schools and Newport Central Catholic. He enjoyed all sports and played basketball and baseball. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley Ann Brown and brother, Terrence Lee Sandfoss. Todd is survived by his brothers, Jim (Sandy), Tim (Cindy), Tony (Jerri), and William Martin “Marty” Sandfoss Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, including his Godchildren, Tyler Anthony Davis-Sandfoss and Terry Lynn Brown Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 23, 2023, at St. Philip Parish, 5746 Mary Ingles Hwy, Melbourne, KY 41059 at 10am. Burial will follow privately in St. Stephens Cemetery in Fort Thomas, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Philip Parish at the address above. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.

    I just learned of Todd's passing. Memories of him and all of us cousins at grandma and grandpa's house. Rosary prayers especially today and I'll stop by the cemetery and bring flowers. Sharon Cauvin Cecil

    I extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to the entire family. I feel connected to all of you through sports as many other Northern Kentuckians. The Sandfoss name is connected to such descriptions as family, faith, hustle, working hard, doing your best. I congratulate all of you for a legacy that would be hard to top. God Bless all of you. May you be consoled with the faith that Gary in in the arms of our awesome God and is shooting hoops somewhere.
