Obituary For Glenn Raymond Wiesmann

Glenn Raymond Wiesmann, 84, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on January 17, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood Hospital.

He was born on March 4, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Jacob J. and Eleanor C. (née Henn) Wiesmann. Glenn worked as a senior store attendant at American Electric and Power for several years before retiring. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Glenn was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger, Kentucky; American Legion Post 6004 in Florence, Kentucky; and was a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree. He served as president of Local 418 AEP Tanners Creek for 24 years, chairman of Greendale Housing for over 15 years, past president of the Parish Council at St. Lawrence Church, and former PTO president of St. Lawrence School.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Howard G., Kenneth E, Jacob R, Ronald H. Wiesmann; His sisters Ann F Townsley, Shirley M. Adams Marshall and Pam H. Allen; and his great grandchild, Asher Layke Schneider.

Survivors included his beloved companion, Timothy M. Monroe; son, Scott Wiesmann of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; daughter, Lisa (Derek) Jones of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; six grandchildren, Hunter (Emily) Schneider, Dylan Jones, Trevor Jones, Kayleigh Wiesmann, Connor Wiesmann, and Chloe Wiesmann; 3 great-grandchildren, Ember, Eden and Archer; and one brother, Donald C. Wiesmann of Burlington, Kentucky.

Services are on Friday, January 23, 2026. A visitation will be held at Mary Queen Of Heaven Church in Erlanger, Kentucky at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow at Rising Sun New Cemetery with a Military Graveside Service by South Eastern Indiana Honor Guard.
