I just found out today that Big Jack had past away... I still cannot believe it he taught me how to run a trout. line hold my arm and wrist just the right way when you were gonna be shooting from either a pistol to a buck blaster lol some of the best fishing I did right from the boat I would use right off the bank of the river that you could see out his kitchen window and blasting Bob Seager at 3 a.m. and not having to worry about bothering a soul I miss cooking sometimes from that kitchen when we would have to work three days on a tree I couldn't believe the big ones we took down and at first I'll admit it scared me to be under that tree with a rope to guide the branches but I knew he wouldn't of let anything happen to me besides it shouldn't have if it was done right he would tell me I met him long before that he knew my Ex husband and we would invite him over for cookouts and he would invite us over for kinda the same but Jack had his own style unmatched by not many today from hiking the Appalachian trail on horseback to writing his manifesto about something tragic in his life that had happen I wouldn't take those days away for nothing in this world I loved going down where he lived I could feed wild lamas from a back porch to seeing a real bald eagle flying to meeting a couple of the locals I don't remember her name but one time this lady and me found Spanish deblumes ( not sure how you spell it) I didn't think that a world like this today still had all that to offer but I believe that there is a heaven and I know Jack's soul is there and I know he's making honey from those golden streets or maybe feilds bc streets wasn't his cup of honey he will be greatly missed R.I.P. Big Jack.

I knew Jack from his tree service, we became friends, he would stop by the house with a jar of home made honey sometimes, if My wife was outside and he was just passing by he would always yell" HELLO MRS. OPPENHEIMER", I will miss him greatly, I just found out about his death today 10/25/23, I called his tree service phone number to get an estimate on our tree in our front yard that I always had him trim, Donna actually called me after I had left a message on his business phone number. He was such good person and had a big heart, we will miss him greatly!!!

One night we went to Jacks cabin down in the country. Jack bought a bunch of snacks and us girls and we made spaghetti. He was so happy with just spaghetti and garlic bread, and company. He didn't realize at the time we needed him just as much as he needed us. Jack was our second cousin, but we called him uncle because of his warm welcoming and his love for us. He just felt more of an uncle. He taught us so much in life. From the mean ole IRS, to the healthy teeth and "where will you be in five years years?"... I miss you Big Jack. You were one of the best You are now with Ben and your brother.
