James “Jim” Cordell Wisdom Jr., age 77 of Florence, KY passed away on December 2, 2023. Jim was born in Covington, KY on January 21, 1946 to James Cordell Wisdom Sr. and Marjorie Jaunita Utter. Jim was retired from the U.S. Army, having served from 1964-1985 and having served in Vietnam as well. He also served in Germany. He was a Helicopter pilot and mechanic and after retiring from the military, he became an electrical engineer. He also loved traveling to Hawaii. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his Wife Carolyn Wisdom, his Daughter Katherine Wisdom and his Brother Charles P Wisdom. Jim is survived by his Children David (Karen) Wisdom, James (Cindy) Wisdom, Kimberly Wisdom, Joshua Wisdom, and Christian Wisdom, Siblings Ruth (Ronald) Hutchins, Nancy (Jimmy) Lawson, and Donnie (Debbie) Wisdom, Grandchildren Alicia Oligee, James & Seth Wisdom, and Great Grandchildren James Cordell Wisdom V, Jordan Wisdom, Elin Oligee, and Harper Oligee. The Funeral Service will be at 6 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042 with Visitation beginning at 4 PM. Entombment with Military Honors will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 6 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
