Union – James “Jim” T. Morrison, 72 years of age, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Jim was born in Georgetown, Kentucky to his late parents, C.W. Morrison and Martha Wright Morrison. Left to cherish Jim’s memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Darlene Morrison; his beloved daughters, Jennifer Maher (Dan), Julie Moore (Joey), and Jamie Whitehead (David); his dear grandchildren, Keagan, Savannah, Leyton, Liam, Nolan, Bryant, and Colt; and his cherished sisters, Betty Jean Adams (Jim), Verna Mae Gadd, and Elizabeth “Libby” Gehardt (Jr.). He will be greatly missed by his 7 nieces and nephews and his best friend, Greg Angell (Jennifer). Jim will be remembered for his love of family, tractor pulls, motorcycle racing, riding his trike, classic cars, and playing softball. Throughout his life he worked as a machinist, mechanic, lawncare and mower repair tech, and a bus driver for Walton Verona Schools. He had an amazing sense of humor and was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Rice Cemetery, Union, Kentucky.
