Jennifer Diane Roberts (neé: Jett), 53, of Florence, passed away peacefully following a short illness, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. She is preceded in death by her son, Terrell Roberts. Left to mourn Jennifer’s passing are her parents, Isaac and Gertrude Jett; her husband, James Roberts; her children, Derrick Jett, Katie Jett, C.J. Roberts, Terrence Roberts, and Joanna Roberts; her grandchildren, Kami, Kali, Zuriah, Ameriah, Kenzie, Bella, Lulu, Kyrai, Ryla, and Nova; her dear sister, Charlotte Gross (Tom); her special aunt, Shirley Spencer; her nephews, Tyler Gross (Marianne) and Jordan Gross (Tiffany); and her great nieces Carolyn, Adelyn, and Ella Gross. She will also be missed by many cousins, extended family members, coworkers, and a multitude of friends. Jennifer was a lifelong resident of Boone County. In her youth she loved going to Cave Run Lake, Morehead, and spending time in the summer in Breathitt County. She was a member of Richwood Presbyterian Church. Jennifer was a lifelong learner and truly valued education; she achieved her master’s degree in business administration at the age of 51. She worked as a middle school teacher and later as an educator and trainer in the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer loved to laugh, travel, and watch TLC. Above all, she was dependable and always there for those she loved. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Richwood Presbyterian Church, 1070 Richwood Road, Walton, Kentucky 41094, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Memories and online condolences may be left for the family at www.stithfuneralhome.com.
