Obituary For Jennifer Jurgens

Jennifer Jurgens, age 60, of Wilder, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born to the late Robert and Mary Ann Brown (née Rausch) and was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Chip Jurgens; her cherished children, Taylor Harshbarger (Dalton Harshbarger), Alexandra Shepard (William Shepard), and Ryan Weibel (Ben Griffin) and her beloved granddaughter, Drew Harshbarger, of whom she was immensely proud. She also leaves behind her brother, Robb Brown.

Family was the center of Jennifer’s life. She loved being a mother and was especially looking forward to her role as a grandmother to Drew and a Shepard grandbaby coming in the next few months. Jennifer had a deep love for animals and adored her dogs. She generously gave her time as a longtime Red Cross volunteer, including assisting during Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

Jennifer had a passion for fashion and design and enjoyed shopping. She was a loyal Cincinnati Bengals fan and found joy in riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Above all, she will be remembered for her love of family, her giving heart, and her vibrant, fabulous spirit.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the SPCA or the Red Cross.
