John M. Arlinghaus (age 71) passed away peacefully with his wife Wanda by his side Wednesday, December 6th, 2023. John was born in Walton Kentucky, he graduated from Walton Verona High School. He completed one year of college before joining the Airforce where he served for 6 years. After leaving the airforce he started working for the railroad then worked construction. He became self-employed working on home remodels and doing carpentry.
John was always willing to help a neighbor or friend in need and would do anything for his family. John was a loving husband and grandfather and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife Wanda Arlinghaus, married 42 years, his mother Doris Burnette, his brother Robert (Judy) Burnette, his step sister Linda Lower, his granddaughters Darby (Alek) Martens and Schuyler Keller, and his grandson Blaise (Andrew) Keller.
John’s visitation will be held at Stith Funeral Home in Florence Kentucky on Wednesday December 13th at 11-1:00 and funeral will follow.
