John Robert Middendorf, 67, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026. He was born on March 3, 1959.

John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a chapter of his life that reflected his dedication, discipline, and deep sense of service.

Following his military service, he built a long and respected career as a Logistics Coordinator with VR Transportation, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Leo Middendorf, and his brother, Steve Middendorf.

He leaves behind many loved ones who will cherish his memory, including his mother, Della Middendorf; his significant other, Sharon Park; and his siblings, Mark Middendorf, Eric Middendorf (Kathee), Joann Middendorf, Lisa Burnett (Jimmy), and Krista Charles (Louise). John is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

A memorial visitation will be held in John’s honor on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria, Kentucky. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM.
